2010 Georgia State University Model United Nations

This year, we have begun to accept position papers from delegations. These papers are completely optional and will have no effect on standard award considerations, however we will be honoring selected position papers during the closing ceremonies. We will also provide faculty advisors with position paper scores for their delegation.

A single position paper should review the topics for a given committee and be no more than 2 single-sided pages in length. For committees with an open agenda, the delegate should explore 2-3 topics of importance to their state and explain why they are important. On each topic, the delegate should explore the background of the situation and explain their state's position on the topic.
