Secretary-General: Lee Boswell

Lee will be serving as Secretary General for GSUMUN 2009. He is a senior at Georgia State University where he is double majoring in History and Middle East Studies. This is his second year on staff, previously serving as Director of the UN Development Programme. Lee has been involved in model conferences for four years, having served as a delegate and staff member at high school and collegiate conferences for Model Arab League as well as Model UN. After graduating in Summer 2009, he plans to return to Georgia State and work on his Master's degree in History. His research interests include religious minorities in the Middle East, Arab nationalism, maritime security, and nineteenth century American social movements.
